Service Description

Nexar Training Academy is endorsed by the Licensing and Regulation Division of Victoria Police to deliver private security training. This qualification meets the training requirements to apply for a security licence in Victoria to perform security activities including unarmed guard, crowd control and control room operator. The qualification reflects the role of a Security Officer, responsible for maintaining safety and security by patrolling, protecting or guarding property while unarmed, and screening entry, monitoring behaviour, and removing persons from premises. Employment as a Security Officer may include roles in crowd control, mobile patrol, shopping centres, retail security, festival and event security, hotel security, concierge, and pub and club security.
