Who We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you’ll need a Certificate II in Security Operations, a valid Security Licence, and a current First Aid Certificate. Strong communication and conflict resolution skills are essential, along with the ability to remain calm under pressure. We’re looking for reliable professionals who can commit to at least 20 hours per week, working shifts between 4 and 12 hours, across five to seven days. This is not a casual position, so dedication and a strong work ethic are key. You’ll also need reliable transport, full working rights in Australia, and the ability to provide excellent customer service.

The Role

We have multiple positions available in healthcare, corporate security, retail, loss prevention, mobile patrols, and event security. Your responsibilities will include providing security support, ensuring customer and client safety, liaising with emergency services when needed, identifying and resolving risks, deterring theft, and reporting missing assets. You’ll need to be adaptable, capable of working both independently and as part of a team, and able to de-escalate situations effectively.

What You Bring

Success in this role requires strong interpersonal and reporting skills, the ability to prioritise tasks, and a commitment to ethical decision-making. Physical fitness is important, as duties may include patrolling, responding to incidents, and restraining individuals if necessary. A current First Aid certificate and intermediate computer skills are also required. Above all, excellent communication, reliability, and professionalism are a must.

At Nexar Group, you won’t just be another security guard—you’ll be part of a team that’s shaping a better, more professional security industry.
